That is one sick truck! Are you running wheel spacers in the rear in order to clear the shocks? If so, how wide are they?

Thanks man. I think it would have looked better on your truck.

I bought it used from Evotaco I believe that he had a company called Evolution Offroad in Cali make it but they just recently went out of business.

I am running 1.5" wheel spacers in the rear to clear the shocks.

I also moved the battery into the toolbox in the bed because the inner fenderwell that the battery sat on was collasping. I was afraid that it would not start the same being so far away from the starter but it has no issues no far.

Today was a great day. I ran my truck harder than I ever have before and it held up great. I also got a few laps in the shop's new race truck.:D:D:D:D:D

This truck was recently purchased by Krawltex Motorsports in Cedar Park TX. The truck was built and raced the Long Beach Racers out of California. The guys are TRD engineers and really dialed the truck in.

We ran the truck through a "race course" in S. Austin TX on private land. It was a blast. We ran the course in my truck following the built race trucks. One really nice baja bug led the way, one Class 5 unlimited bug, and the 2001 Tacoma race truck.

More pics and video of action to come once our camera guy compiles it all.

    Specs:

    2001 Tacoma 2wd
    3.4L engine
    manual body auto tranny
    9" 40 spline rear end
    Sway away shocks all around

We race 7s in BITD and SCORE. The truck just took 1st in the SNORE 250 earlier this month driven by the previous owners and members of our shop.

You built a sick truck. I love the old school paint on the race truck.

Your truck is bad ass. Next March when my truck is paid for. I am going Long travel all the way. I'll use your truck for a little inspiration.

Here are a couple of pics of my truck last Sunday when we ran the race truck. I ran my truck around the course to see what it could do and familiarize myself with the track so my time in the race truck would be clean. I had four people in the truck so it bottomed out harder than normal.:)

Yepper. Camburg, Total Chaos, and All Pro offer extended 4x4 axles to work with their kits.

The downside is that you're stuck with the stock spindles. Gusset the hell out of 'em!

Thanks man. Head on down to Krawltex in Austin and we can take care of you.
Thanks Mike. It was a great time until we rolled the race truck. Its just fiberglass damage but two weeks before the race it was a bummer. Were still racing and standby for a Class 7 upset.

I've heard of guys rolling their trucks in the parking lot before a race because they were showing off. Rolling during testing isn't too big of a deal, especially since no mechanical damage was done.

    Looking forward to the updates!
