Wow lucky lol. That spindle looks waaay better. I plan on getting long travel around the first of the year with my taxes and looking over all the different kits that is def the weak point. So im guessing you are happy with TC? Have you rode in a truck with camburg or engage to see if there is any difference? The only reason i am looking at camburgs is being boxed on the lowers you can eventually add a bump. Can you feel yours bottom without bump stops or do you have rubber ones or? I have looked at all of your pics but unfortunately I cant see any of them right now cause im at work and it turns them all into red X's

i'm happy with the TC kit. i bought it used, i was palnning on going with camburg but the deal i got on the TC kit was too good to pass up. i like the extra item support TC offers... heim steering, UCA gussets, spindle gusstes, but i think the camburg kit itself is better. like you said, the air bump pads, boxed lower arm and uni ball adapter are nicer i think. as far as the kits go your not gonna fell much difference cause TC and camburg offer the same travel #'s, it's the shocks that are gonna make a difference, how they are valved and amount of preload on the coils and if you are running secondary bypass or air bumps. i only have CO's right now and i have no bottomed out the front end. gotten close though, but my Icon's keep it all under control. on my to do list is the inverted bumps your talking about or strip the powder coating off the lower arms and add some air bump strike plates and run front air bumps...

Ahhh never thought of adding a plate so you could get air bumps on the TC kit. Thats a good idea. I agree about Camburgs lower arms but I also like the heimed top arms of the TC (not to mention all of their goodies - heim steering, gussets, etc). Damn I was pretty much decided on Camburg but now im not sure again lol. I know I'll be happy either way but I also know as soon as i buy one of them I will wish I had bought the other. Hmmm maybe it will be eenie-meenie-minnie-moe lol

yeah dude, both are great kits and have been proven to take alot of abuse. camburg is cheaper by about $400. take that into consideration too. all the extra stuff that TC offers can be fabbed up by an off road shop. solo motorsports also offers UCA gussets that fit the camburg kit.

Yeah thats true too. That damn money thing always seems to play a part. I rode im my buddy Wang's Tacoma and right after I rode in my friend Danny's FJ. One has Camburg and one is TC. Both have coil overs & by-passes and they both felt awesome although a little different cause the FJ does not have a full roll cage and seats yet so you arent strapped as good. But either way I just about dropped a load in both of their trucks lol
