finally got around to mounting a spare tire, jack and ammo cans. also put my glass back on. the grabbers seems huge compared to my old BFG's cause the grabbers aren't bald haha. the rear tires hit the glass if i take speed bumps too fast, def need to fix that

no quick release, the rear bolt that is horizontal holds the jack in place. loosen it and the jack and skid slid right out

I think a light rack would put a cherry on top.

kinda like this one? i've thought about that too. i'm going to talk to front line about it. i'm dropping my truck off there again for a few days in feb to finsih up the rear bumper and talk about adding air bumps to the front end. gonna have to strip off the poweder coating and add strike pads. i also just found out that they are working on their own spindle design...:D

    Very nice.
Yea like that one. I want one too but I'm torn. I either want one like that, or like that with a basket/rack on top as well. And I want the light rack to either be easily removable or fold down.

Thats sick. Just make sure your brackets are strong so that thing stays up there. I am constantly checking mine and need to re-do it one of these days.

Also consider an aluminum visor underneath the lights or your hood will reflect a lot of the light back at you. That is on my to-do list too.

yeah, i remember you saying in another thread to do the visor to keep light from coming back at you. i know the metal on top of the roof is really thin so that the main obstacle when doing these light racks. it's not super high on my priority list so we'll see...

Would you really lose much light if you just put them on a roll bar at the back of the cab? I like Wangs on TTORA cause when it folds down its completely aerodynamic. The lights on the bumper seem to make up for any loss on the roof

that's an option too but that type of design you usually tie into the bed cage and it wouldn't really work with the current cage i have.
