    I've been trying to find out how to get to those fire roads. Last time i drove past cherry creek the gate was open but I'm not sure how long for though.

    which fire road? cisar road is the fire road that runs along the ridge line of the topa topa mountains right there in ojai (first 2 pics i posted)
    you access is from either upper ojai or out by the 33 heading back to lockwood valley by cozy dell. you can get the gate combo from the ranger station in ojai.

    new lower ball joints and the re-valve made a world of difference too. feels like driving a stock truck, only better

    the LT kit? hell yeah it will... i'll have to change to 4WD spindles though, but that's the only part of the suspension i'll have to change

    for the conversion though i need a new tranny, front diff, t-case, half shafts, 4WD spindles and little odds and ends... it's def a project

    yup... solo spindles are off. i'm really considering the 4x4 conversion. i'll probably really start looking for parts after christmas

    no, it's not too bad. the toughest part is finding the needed parts for a good price and relatively close by.

    didn't prime my fenders or bedsides. you'll get to see next week, they're not as clean as you think... but good enough for me
