Crap guys. Crashed my truck tonight. Just got home and was missing the truck so went for a drive up to polipoli. It was wet but i have driven around those trails loads of times so didn't think anything of it. Made it halfway down this little trail just fine crawling in 4LO and L using brakes to keep a little slower. All of a sudden halfway down my brakes totally freakin turned off! Floored brake for like 1sec and nothing. Started speeding up way faster so i kicked down e brake... NOTHING. Then i just tried to steer it away from this wall and ended up launching off the wall on my drivers side wheel at about 25mph. Side airbags blew cracked me in the head and almost rolled the truck. It was for sure on two wheels. Just barely made it. I thought my front bumper was gonna be destroyed but no damage to plastic. My driver side wheel though is another story. I can tell its off by like 2 inches or so. Tomorrow gonna take it down to Toyota and hopefully they fix it. Stupid for a truck with 3200 miles on it to have a failure like that.

No bueno. Glad you are okay. Just do a fender trim.

See if they can fix my roof while you are at it.

my fenders are fine as far as i can see. No damage not even a scratch. Good thing was lifted. Mainly I'm worried about the frame being bent and suspension damage as my alignment is way off now. Gotta tilt the wheel to the right to go straight. And no seat belts and no side airbags so all that needs to be fixed. Not to mention why the brakes went out. No idea as to why that would happen.

Might try to get lemon law affected. Idk if possible but hawaii law says that if a vehicle is unsafe to the point where it can cause death it can be replaced by manufacturer. I would say brakes totally shutting off for no reason classifies as that. Im not sure exactly what ill do. Wait for mech to check it out.

I know you are in the process of changing things up, but what will be the final setup?

Nice pics. I actually saw your truck the other day and was wondering who made your rear bumper?
