I had 2 wires crossed. Got it running with some help of my pops and a friend of mine. Her maiden voyage went well 10 miles and no problems, even stopped for gas :D. Only problem is a exhaust leak and anything above 40mph and its the death wobble. Now to get some sleep.

^ I had tons of wobble too when I started mine, new springs and tires fix majority of that

It wobbles from 40-45 then it stops. Feels like the wheel bearings are shot.

Just been driving it. Started a new job so im working 2nd shift now, not alot of time to mess with it between that and school. Saving some cash and hopefully soon have the money to get the full front lift w/histeer and maybe do 63" chevys in the rear. While I have the axles out i'll probably just go ahead and rebuild them. Also need to decide btw propane or a weber.

Sounds like a good start, I got all my parts together for power steering and my ifs box. If you're trying to stay cost friendly I say webber, haven't had any problem with mine. Propane is nice but its also 3 times the price.

    Are you doing RUF?

Your getting a lot more done than I have. I'm working 2nd shift this week so I may try to work on my rear brakes one day and clean it up with some fresh paint.

I'm also curious what your doing to the front suspension.

To be completely honest man I am very happy with my rough country front springs, they flex very well, and I would recommend them for budget. However, I can't say the same for the rear springs, i ended up taking them apart and my factories apart and building one set from the 2

How much adjusting did you have to do to the weber after the install?

couple turns, i idled it down just a tad, pretty much ready to go from box though. I did change the throttle spring because it seemed to stick slightly and rev a little high

by far the best money i spent on my truck. Alove, Matt, and I put it on in about 2 hours. Hardest part is cleaning the old gasket off. Mine is an electric choke 32/36, very simple to hook up (one wire). Worse Case I can make a run to lancaster if you need help installing. It took mine 2 days to get here. I never had one problem with the carb starving for fuel at URE, did very good, just have to hold the butter fly open to start on steep incline.
