Good deal. Love the truck. I'm moving back to TN in April and i've got my eyes open already for a straight axle runner. I'd love a truck this body style too though.

Thanks man, I'd recommend a 4Runner or at least a Xtracab just for the interior room.

Yeah I really want a runner. Would love to summer wheel with the top off and loaded down with people. Plus I have the 2013 for bed space.

    How is your dual fuel?

I need a good no bull crap review man.. I've got to make a decision soon & it's either 22re swap or dual fuel.

I hate my carb offroad, but it's fine on the street & love how simple it is to fix/work on.

The kit works great. It was a pain to install but I feel safe to say it's much easier to do than a efi swap.

The only downfall is the loss of space due to the propane tank, and I get about 200 miles on a 10gal tank of gas and 150 miles on a 10gal tank of propane. If I had to do it again I don't know what I would do but on the other hand I don't regret the dual fuel kit at all. The truck runs great all the time offroad, uphill, downhill, sideways, vertical etc. Feels to have more power on propane than gas also.

The truck runs so much smoother/better on propane vs gas.

    Good.

I remember how much hell it was to drive it to Gulches and that was basically in your back yard.

How is it as far as tuning is concerned? I've read that propane runs better at like 15* ahead and these trucks run good at like 5-8* ahead on pump gas.

I've also heard you can time them ahead more and run 93 instead of 87 and it'll run better when switched to propane.

I don't feel like the EFI is "harder" as it is a very simple swap, but it is more time consuming..

But I DD my truck so I'm very concerned about overall drivability.. I do plan to pick up a car as a DD, but I will still drive my truck to and from the trail & 2-3 days a week..

I never touched the timing on my truck after the install, although mine is a little advanced as it is. I occasionally run the truck on 93 but usually just get 87, can't tell the difference. Once I tuned the mixing screw I haven't touched it since.

Efi would be easier in the long run since you don't have to fool around with the tanks.

Yeah I would've had to see a chiropractor after 5 straight hrs of driving. But I would enjoy saying I did it to see the look on peoples faces.

Got any plans on the 29th big guy? I'm headed to Uwharrie and if you want to join I can bring those fenders.

No problem, just throwing it out there. Let me know when you know for sure so I can throw them in the truck or not

That's really the only downfall that I can find.. It's more space to take up, more fuel to buy, and I'll want an extra tank for trail days so I'll have to haul it around..

We shall see where it goes.. I'm gonna get a little car to DD before I tear into a motor swap/rebuild.

Cut the factory perches off the rear axle and rotated it toward the t-case. Hope that takes care of some vibrations and gets the diff out of the rocks.

Also picked up a Yukon Grizzly locker. Should be 100 times better than the spool.
