With my old lift springs and shocks it felt like I was catching air bouncin' down the road  And I was wondering why you only had the U-bolt flip on one side.

So Ive got another coolant leak, it's some kind of valve on the firewall that goes to the heater core. Going to mess with it tomorrow while I'm off

Went to URE yesterday with some folks. She did pretty good but really needs lower case gears.

10 mins in and this happened :D

And I got the 63" chevys cleaned up and painted today. Should have them on within the next few weeks.

Talked to him again today, he's going to sell me the whole hi-steer kit and the ps pump for $250. All I have to get is the pittman arm. Going to pick it up tomorrow. :woot:

The rear u-bolt flip was already supposed to be here but UPS lost it. So Low Range Off-Road is going to send another one, should be here next week. Then i'll start on the 63" swap.

Got the rear axle out, and the leafs off. Working on the 63" swap. I'm up in the air about welding spiders. I want to, but if I ever regear im under the impression from what i've read that I will need another 3rd. Obviously "once you weld it the shits in forever"

Another cheap route for the rear end would be a spool. Depending on how pinion preload is set (crush sleeve v. solid spacer) you may need to re-set the ring and pinion if you go that route though.

Feel like doing a gear install? :D

I've looked into a spool but if I went that route I figure go ahead and regear while I was at it.

I've also looked at some 3rd's on NC4x4 for about $60. Im thinking of grabbing one of them for a learning tool. :spy:
