Drivers side is tacked up. The rear shackle angle is pretty straight up and down but once I get it on the ground it should angle a little more.

    Look good!

I wouldn't bother with gusseting the shackle. If anything, it'll just start to flex above/below the gusset point. Go to thicker metal if anything. Mine are 3/8 (you read that correctly) and they ain't bendin'.

You got nothin' to worry about then. Most of the time bending only occurs in those POS auto parts store shackles with multiple holes and 1/8 thick shitty chinese steel.

Got it all tacked up today. I've got to take a few measurements to be sure everything is true. So far I am very satisfied with the outcome. :D

Got everything welded up. The welds aren't beautiful but its the best I could do with the rusty 30yr old frame, they'll hold just fine. It rides great compared to the factory springs. Now just got to measure and get some shocks. I would highly recommend this swap.

Posing, still would've flexed more

Got the 6" Marlin greasable shackles on the front. Now the ride is just about perfectly level. Up next is the square front D/S

Shackles make these trucks drive so much better! I guess it adjusts the camber and make a huge improvement
