    What's the biggest lift lift possible without any major problems or drop brackets on a 4wd? V6 dcsb

    Anyone else? I'd think with long travel you could get at least 5" and still have enough down travel.

    long travel is a completely different suspension system, not a "lift" so that doesnt count

    3"
    anything above that = shit ride, and will make your parts shit quicker

    I had my eibachs/5100's installed accidentally at 2.5 on top of the coils, so I was running 5.5+ in the front for a week

    rode like shit
    both my cv boots blew the week after

    I know LT is different than a lift, but because LT has so much more travel i don't see why you couldn't use some of that extra travel to make the truck sit taller.

    You can't do spindles so just stick with three-ish inches or go to a drop bracket

    CV angles are CV angles though.
    If you exceed a static lift equivalent angle of 3", it's the same as cranking the stock front end.
    You can get a little more than 3"... but it's healthier for the CVs to keep it down.

    If you do long travel you can go infinitely high as you go infinitely wide. Its not a reasonable comparison. The answer you are looking for is 3".

    King 2.5" extended travel coilovers with compression adjusters, Camburg UCA's, King 2.5" rear shocks, TRD 1st gen CAI.
    That kinda defeats the purpose of having LT. You're better off with a 3" mid travel set up.

    Obviously the more angle the more the cvs have to bend as they rotate but as far as I understand the big thing is damaging the boots. If you stretch the boots, exactly how bad is it for the CVs? like just not ideal or will fail and how much over 3 can you push with stretched boots?
