Any modification needed for the brackets specific to the revolver. Cutting the rail or plastic rail cover. Does the rail leak more water now? I was looking at those voodoos for my truck also and I have the revolver cover.

So, yes a few things with this install. First the plastic that covers the rails (inside lip) makes the fit under the tonneau rails tight with the voodoo brackets. Since the plastic was pliable I was able to bend them enough to make them work. As for the water tightness, the tonneau was never that water tight, I always had some seepage from rains or car washes; so with the brackets sandwiched between the tonneau rails and bed rails it does lift the tonneau rails about 1/8 in.; so I would assume it would let more water seep in; but I’m more worried about security and being able lock stuff up in the bed which the brackets let me do. I had to make no modifications for the install. After install everything worked as normal. Hope this helps and good luck.

You're better off directly messaging them on Instagram or their email. Chad is great at getting right back to emails.

We responded to him immediately via PM.

The absolute best way to contact us is sales@kbvoodoo.com

We prefer not to be contacted via Instagram, it just makes it more difficult to send helpful links and things like that, because we have to use a phone instead of a PC (maybe I'm just old school).

About a month with the rack installed and no issues at all. There were a few spots where the pieces were hung during powder coating by KBVoodoo provides a paint pen with the rack to touch them up.

So far I'm in love with the rack. It's solid, well made, and the bike rack accessory is worth it alone. And to be able to store things in the bed with the tonneau cover is clutch.

Any plans for a solution (aluminum) to fit the RetraxPro XR cover? I’m using Yakima towers and round bars, but would like something taller.

So... to recap, you can actually roll your Bak Industries Revolver X4 tonneau cover all the way up and secured with the Max Modular 10 inch bed rack?!?!?! Do you have pics of it rolled all the way up?

I just placed an order for the 14" Max Modular Bed Rack yesterday. Just sent an email to Chad @KB Voodoo . Hoping he could help a brother out and change the order to a 10" Max Modular Bed Rack instead *fingers crossed

Not a problem, thank you for the heads up. Hoping to get @Fireman55 to post a pic with the tonneau cover (Bak Industries Revolver) rolled all the way up. I know 14" will do it, 10" with it rolled up would be the shizniz!

Sweet! If at all possible, could you please change my order up from a 14" to a 10" Bed Rack? Will make it worth your effort and purchase additional accessories if we have to redo the order. That is when y'all get a chance, please. Thank you!

Does anyone know if the situation with there being a spot without coating from the way it's hung is still happening? I want to order the 10" but those little spots without powder coating would drive me nuts.

The hook marks are always put in a bolt hole. This happens with ALL powder coated parts, everywhere.

Since the hooks are always put in a bolt hole, they are locked forever under a stainless steel bolt, washer, and nut.

The hook marks never have, and never will cause an issue.

Good enough for me. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't visible after being mounted. Thanks for the quick response!
