    Hi all

Still pretty new to tacoma world...but wondering if anyone has put a 275/60/17 tire on a 2023 stock taco...stock oem truck ( no lift) ...note these tires would be on Elite Customs Wheels 17x8 : with 0 offset , or +5 offset. Goal is to get a wider look. (And keep my mud guards)

Thanks in advance for your counsel/ recommendations

    Oh look, another mod....
If you have a TRD Offroad, the stock tires are 265/70/16; going up to 275/60/17 will fit just fine:

I thought the 0MM offset is what causes the rubbing?

I run 265/70R17's with a +5 offset 17×8 rim. I had to cut the mud guard and I still touch the inner fender on the drivers side.

Increasing ( decreasing numerically) offset, increases the turning arc of the tire wheel assembly, moving it closer to the wheel well. Then increasing tire diameter and width moves things that much closer. The only true size that fits without contacting is stock. Anything else has the potential.

Thanks to everyone's inputs. One more question.

Has anyone run 275 /65/17 with +5 offset?? (Tire rack rep says they will fit the truck, but did not mention offset.??

There is a whole thread on 275/70/17's. Your answers will be there. Every truck seems to be slightly different. Alignment is a big factor. Some have no problem, some do.
