im new to the tacoma world i came from a JKU on 37s where the spare was mounted on the tailgate. I am looking to upgrade to a set of 285/75/16 KO2s on my third gen and im wondering if i get a full size spare if it will fit in the stock spare mounting location under the bed. I dont need an exact match i would probably just find a used on that is the same diameter so in the unfortunate event i need to use the spare im not trying to run a stock tire with the new bigger ones for the time it takes me to fix a flat.

So will a 33 ish diameter tire fit in the stock mounting location?

I put a 275/70/17 BFG KO2 under there. It's not a perfect fit, but it works.
