MAX TOWING for 08 5 lug 2.7L

I have an 08 tacoma access 5 lug 2.7L and getting ready to buy a boat. I'm looking at Bass Tracker Pro 170 with a approximate package weight of 1836 but what i really want is the Pro 175TF which the approximate package weight is 2232. Would my truck pull the 175TF?

 

Your truck is rated at 3500, so in short, yes.

It won't be fast, there will be downshifting, and you'll have to keep your speeds and expectations reasonable. If you do that, should be no problem at all.

 

Shouldn't be that much of a difference between the two correct?
