    Hi Everyone,

My questions is fairly simple... i'm looking to finally slap on a lift kit/bigger tires/rims etc.. But because i work in an office..and hafta park in alot of parking structures here in los angeles... what are my limitations :( ...lets say i wanna be on the "safe side" and fit through almost all parking structures...

any knowledge/suggestions is greatly appreciated. (i wont hold anyone to their answers of course =P ) ...just wanting to know my options

Never have taken my taco through the parking lot here at the base I'm on, but at other places I have not had a problem with the Ready lift SST kit. There's a 2.75" spacer for the front and 1" block for the back. A couple buddies and I did the install in just under 4 hours and the only problem we had was the original hydro jack and jack stands weren't tall enough. Other than that, I love the look of it and I was able to put some 285/70s on.

he has a show lift. depends on what kind of lift you want and do you want it for looks of show. you will be safe with 3", i am at around 4" and have a couple of inches to spare.

whats the total height with lets say 33's and a 3" lift?

also ...any recommendations for shops in the socal area for both doing the lift..and buying rims/tires?

When I was in san diego there were places like "offroad warehouse" that were popular..but seemed to charge alot (this was like 10 years ago when I had no money though haha)

Went from: Icon coilovers, Light Racing UCA's, SpiderTrax Wheel spacers, T Rex Eye lids color matched, Rear AAL, Iron Dirt light bar, Hella 500's, Blacked out door badges and front grill badge, Blacked out Hella light covers, Trailer Brake controller, JVC Arsenal KD-AHD69 HU, Sony Xplod Amp To completely stock :(

Garys sport truck in Ontario did my taco,
I got a 3" lift, 18 inch silver/black moto metal rims, 33" toyo open country mountain terrains and I added a leaf kit on the rear suspension.
    The total was 3200 bucks.
Keep in mind if you don't want your truck to be squirly after the lift you might want to get UCA's (upper control arms) to replace the stock arms.
Runs about 700 bucks for the kit I think.

When you lift your truck be sure to keep your stock radio antenna on because that works as a feeler gauge for me when I go through under ground garages. I just did the Bilstein 5100 lift on 285/70/17 and it looks sick IMO. I will soon post pics.
