Just picked up our new 2016 TRD Sport yesterday. Leaning toward installing the Maxtrac 4" spindle in front (2WD) and either block or AAL in back.
    1. Anyone running these spindles on a 3rd gen?
    2. Any recommendations for the install in the Austin area?
Thanks for any input, we're 1st time Tacoma owners:burnrubber:

Not on a 3rd Gen, but some folks and I installed Maxtrac spindles on my PreRunner. Pretty easy installation. I think I have pictures in my album.

    Edit

Get a AAL/new leaf pack for the rear. Blocks will make the ride fairly uncomfortable IMO.

    Thanks for the reply.
What wheel/tire combo did you go with?

Also installed Icon c/o's so I didn't have any issues with rubbing. Stock suspension I'm unsure.

Cool, thanks. I think I'm going to order a kit from Headstrong and do the install myself. The install quotes I've been getting are a bit ridiculous. Seems like the install isn't too difficult, from what I'm seeing on the forum.

It really isn't. Headstrong is who I ordered through and the owners are really nice and helpful folks. Do some pre-work and figure out all the tools you'll need to complete the job before you start. That way you don't run into any surprises & overall, and working methodically, the installation for both the spindles and rear leafs should take you about 6-8 hours (or less). Working with a buddy will also help. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
