Hey everyone. I hve the maxtrac lift from headstrong that includes the blocks and crappy shocks for the rear. I'm currently want to remove the blocks and shocks for AAL and shocks. Not sure exactly what I need for the lift. I have 4 inches of lift in the front and 2inch blocks in the back. My trucks sits a little low in the rear so I figure I need 3 inches in the rear to level it out. Can anyone help me out with what setup i should run? Thanks

Oh ok. I'm getting some maxtrac spindles off craigslist for 375 and I just gotta figure out what I gotta do for the rear. Did you need extended break lines?

For the front yes. Check headstrong. I think they sell the complete set for the front in the 400$ range.

Not hard at all just need a flare wrench and make sure you spray WD-40 or PB blaster the day before and consistently through out the day

Thanks! I don't think it should be too hard. I hope the spindles aren't difficult either

OP you should get a full leaf pack like the Dakar or all pro packs. No AAL will get you 3" of lift, and if it does it won't last long and will be incredibly stiff. Plus Toyota oem springs are crap anyway so it's just a bandaid

Feel free to PM and ask me any questions. I believe I'm the guy you're planning on buying these spindles from.

Depends on your budget. Bilsteins work great, ask @ragincajun35 what model he uses with his. If your budget is a bit higher look in fox/icon

I run the bilstein 5100s in the front with OME 887 coils. In the rear i run the dakar leafs withe the shackles flipped and the long travel bilstein 5100s. If you can afford to run the more expensive stuff it may be worth it but I've had success running the OME nitro shocks and the bilstien 5100s. I don't wheel super hard like some of these dude do thought. My rig is setup for overland use and is capable for wheeling and trail riding. Good thing about the 5100s and Nitros from OME is that they are relatively inexpensive and require no maintenance. Replacing them every 50k miles is not that big of a deal as it will only cost you about $300 to replace all 4. Just my experience. Definitely pays to do your research and buy what you need. I would focus on getting your truck supported correctly first (springs and coils) and then depending on how much lift you get and how much off roading your intend to do choose your shocks appropriately. Let me know if you need any help or just want to talk suspension.

How do you have 4" in the front? Do you have aftermarket upper control arms? I do not think the stock IFS is capable of going all the way up to 4".
