Got the Maxxiss bighorns mounted and I love them so far should have went to tall skinnies a long time ago. I was afraid of the 4.10 gearing on the four banger. I have to say its rolling just fine.

I took them out for some desert R&D yesterday. Low speed articulation zero problems rubbing at full locks. Higher speed light rubbing from hard hits on whoops. On washboard its amazing way smoother from just a little taller tire. Not sure I'll be hucking the pizza cutter tires like I did with the 265/75r16s. I might end up self clearing some fenders.

Update: front fender flares started self clearing took them off so they didn't

Keep us posted on noise and wet traction as you break them in.

4wd New Zealand runs them. I'm not sure if he bought them before Maxxis became a sponsor or after though. Regardless, they seem to work well on his adventures.

Rain pretty good out here in the desert lots of flooding zero to little hydro problems. I cant say the same about the pathfinder ATs.

Thanks for sharing! Looking to upgrade my 265 KO2's for the same tire you threw on. Do you have a side before photo? I'm curious how it changed the side profile.

Here’s the before and after: KO2 265/75R16 to Bighorn 255/85R16. Had slight rubbing in full lock but taking off the forward front mudflaps fixed that! Tires are surprisingly quiet and even smoother than the KO2s!
