haha nice. I got the slogan from you. Thanks for your review and info on the tires. I was leaning towards the Ko2 first and realized they were to heavy. I then started to look at the Toyo AT3 open country because the SL tires are 42-44 lbs but the side wall was not aggressive enough for my taste.

I asked about these while I was at Les Schwab back in October.
Here’s the quote I got. Too expensive.
I know you guys said Simple tire is the way to go. Just not sure I want an E rated tire. I really like these tires though and want to stick with a 265/75/16

I paid $137 per tire for 265/70r17 SL. I do have a hook up for that price, I just took them somewhere for balancing/mounting

Here we go from Walmart for the 265/75/16’s I want. Way better than almost $1300 for the same tire from Les Schwab.

The mud where I parked was the perfect consistency to fully flow into the tread lugs, but not stick to the rubber, which left a perfect imprint of the grip pattern.

So we've had a massive snow storm. 19" inches at my house overnight, which means I've finally really put these tires through their snow paces over the last three days. They still haven't plowed near my house and I've been up and down to Park City... Slush, deep snow, powder, sloppy parking lots, you name it.

These things kick ass in the snow. No really. Better than the Wildpeaks and so much better than the KO2, they are not even in the same category.

This was the only aspect of the tire I hadn't been able to fully push the tire on, but good lord.... What an outstanding tire.

The only thing that remains to be seen is how long they actually last.

@R4D4G4ST - Good too hear these tires Rock in snow. Now the remaining box to check is the performance on ice.

Got to chime in on these. Been running them for a few months and they are Great. Super impressed. Great on dirt great in the rain ultra quiet on the road. These are some of my favorite tires of all time. Any time I hear someone with a bad review or talking shit I ask if they have actually used them and the answer is always no, I heard it from someone who has. FYI these are factory tires for Toyota all over the world except the USA. These are leaps and bounds beyond wrangler tires.

Best snow performing tires I own so far during all these snow storms. Better than hankook ats and Goodyear duratrac I had on before.

Right. We've been getting hit with so much snow and these things just rock. So predictable!! I've been running them for almost a year and I couldn't be happier. These are doing to be my go to tire.

Ah didn’t know there was a thread for these! I’ll be purchasing a set of 35/11.5/17 some time this year. I’m fed up with my milestars.

New guy here, not new to Yotas. I had been following your thread for a few weeks as I have been in the market for new tires. Bought a set of used wheels and tires with some Nitto RGs in LRC for my Sequoia and they are half worn and very loud and unstable on road.

I do not offroad much and when I do its a fire road or something somewhat traveled. No crazy rock climbing or anything of the sort. I decided SL rated would be fine for me, but even SL rated Nitto RGs approach the $1200 mark with mounting balancing and taxes included.

So I picked up some Maxxis 285/70r17s to go on my 17x9 Black Rhino wheels and hoping I will be happier with the much lighter tires, about 16.5lbs per corner.

I am sure I can sell my old set off for $300 or so and grand total on these I will be in $500 for a new set of tires. I still have a brand new Nitto RG as my fifth spare from the previous set.
