Bethel is easy even with snow so I wouldn't worry about it.

I've ran those roads 100's of times just prepare yourself for lots of UTV fags that weekend in those areas.

If you want something a bit more fun when you get to the 410 side, do a run up Mud Springs or Clover Springs before jumping back on the BDR.

Joel (Korndog1284) and I did all of Section 2 on Sunday. Bethel Ridge still has snow melting which makes for some 'interesting' parts. There are also a lot more fallen trees blocking the trail. There are detours for some, but that didn't stop Joel and I working our chainsaw and winch to clear these massive devils.

I'm not very confident that the bone stock folks (thinking primarily of those who haven't upgraded to larger, all-terrain or mud tires) among us will likely struggle a bit. They'll likely get stuck, possibly incur damage when trying to get unstuck.
Course, if we were to begin at the BOTTOM of Section two (hitting Bethel Ridge first) then we'd know real quick if stock folks could make it through or not, without much investment (time) on the trail to get there. However, there is talk of hitting Section 2 from the NORTH, coming out of Section 3. So, you've got a couple of hours before finding out if you can make it through or not.

If stocks were last in line, then they fare a much better chance.

Don't think I know the 410, Mud Springs, Clover Springs. Do you have GPS or something to share?

    410 is the highway.

    Mud springs ( http://www.nwjeepn.com/mudsprings.html )
    clover spring ( lower - http://www.nwjeepn.com/cloversprings2.html ) ( upper - http://www.nwjeepn.com/cloversprings.html )

Mud springs is pretty easy except for like the last mile or so up to the top of the springs. If there's snow or mud its pretty fun. Plenty of spaces to turn out before you get final climb as it parallels a FS road and crosses it like 6 or 8 times (tons of camping spots). You can then take clover springs down or run clover up and mud down.

The lower section of clover starts as a steep down hill off the FS road, a few people have flipped/rolled jeeps here before, but its totally by-passable just drive down the FS road a bit more. The rest of the trail is pretty easy maybe a spot or two where it gets tight or wet if theirs snow.

These trails are basically across the "canyon" from Bethel Ridge.

If I can get my new parts in, my LCA uni-ball is shot, and I took it apart this weekend to fix and there was enough play that the bolt is fucked and the misalignment spacer is fucked. So if TC can over night some parts I can.

Man. Wish I could go with you guys; but alas I'll be working Sasquatch.

Have a stock '13 OR with 3rd gen take offs that I'm looking to get dirty and schooled on, especially in snow. guess I'll have to check back on TW for more meet ups.

    Have a fun weekend.

Sounds like you're volunteering to do the winching, that right?
