    Sounds like you may have been on NF-6550 when you ran into snow. When you come up to the junction off of Beckler Rd / NF-65, the road to the pits it just slighty to the right and in front of ya. Pits are maybe a 100 yds up. At least you had fun exploring and didn't get stuck! :thumbsup:

    Went back up 6554 today, no snow on the road except for the parking area for the foot trail to the fire tower
