I dont really know how to feel about my taco at the moment. I'll be getting a satoshi grille, removing the chrome off the grill and painting it factory red and a 3" lift soon. For the time being I have been doing little things and now I think I may have crossed into a tuner style off road truck....:frusty: I like my headlights but am unsure about the tail lights. Also, I bought the truck with the lower portion painted with rhino liner, I cant take credit for it. I'm considering rhino lining the rear bumper too but I would like the opinon of you good people.

To clarify: When I say I crossed a line, I don't mean the euro/tuner style truck is not a good way to go IMO, I am saying I don't think that the style goes well with a lifted/off road truck. I meant no offense.

what's wrong with that? there are a couple lifted trucks with that "style" and they look good. as long as you like it, go for it.

i don't like the tailights tho lol. headlights do look good tho.

I saw a tuner lifted 09 taco driving around and I didn't like it. The x-runners are nice but from what ive seen I dont like it for a lifted truck.

I don't see a problem with any of it IMHO. It's different. It's yours.

If you change out the wheels I would go with a darker color.

Looks good. Rocker panels w/rhino liner looks awesome.

Tail lights are okay...I'm just not a fan of the 2nd Gen tail lights in general.

Otherwise, you're safe from looking like a lifted tuner, imo.:)

I like it! Doesn't look like a tuner truck IMO. But as someone said earlier, you'll probably like it better after the lift.

Its your truck bro. Do as you please. Once you get your lift and some new tires it will look fine. I would also de-chrome it. I just got mine and will be loosing the chrome. Good luck:cool:

Looks great. I like the contrast with the red and black a lot. Color-match the grille and do a satoshi on it and it'll be even better. I actually like the tail lights. For me, the chrome on the front is a little out of place with all the black, but I like the lights front and back just fine.

    Don't be negative. That's a sharp truck! ;)

I don't like those taillights with your color, but otherwise they look good. Just need tires and a lift.
