the show in nyc …the lead guitarist climbed up to the balcony level and jumped off into the crowd, with his axe on his back, crowd surfed back to the stage while shredding the whole way. That video is all over the internets.

truth be told, all the repairs I’ve done after the incident could have been done and fixed with 9 pages less of thread comments, but it wouldn’t have been nearly as fun or enjoyable. I try to pay my penny to you guys in funnies since I don’t have any penny’s left

Resistor for the blower motor is toast. And two of the screws around the blower cage are so rusted from being underwater that i shot them with blaster. Didn’t attempt to pull them, gonna shoot em every time I do the brake line and hope for the best. Good evening to everyone .

I got the wheel side connection free. But the side going into this junction will not come out…any ideas ? Only one I have is take the other two connections off the junction get the junction off the truck and try to free it up on a bench. I would like to replace the junction anyway at this point but if you guys have any ideas that might help me get the darn connection I want free, I’ll try it. I’ve already started prepping bolts holding brackets to the line going to passenger rear tire with blaster. All I want is the frozen up connection free though. All I want

The bracket circled (9) that I’m pointing to in this diagram …as soon as I went to take the bolt out of it the whole bracket twisted. Got it bent back mostly but Jeeze Louis , nothings easy is it? And of course it’s a bracket coming off the axle itself. It holds speed sensor cable and brake line.

I didn’t, cuz I’m dumb. Now the whole suckin thing is rounded. I tried propane torch, scary cuz it’s close to fuel tank and filter. Don’t have a map torch. Propane did nothing noticeable.

Started blaster oil on all 9 labeled brackets headed to passenger side wheel. I’m so mad !

I had similar issues with my front hard lines, even with proper line wrenches. PB blaster, patience, and vice grips eventually got them off when totally rounded. Careful heat in your situation since you're near the gas tank.

10mil line wrench is what I’m using , but even on the new line it has slop. 10 mil is the correct size right?

If the bracket is moving you need to back up the 3way splitter to apply leverage to remove the offending fitting. Vise grips, channel locks or a small pipe wrench

    the bracket is not moving.
I’ve put it on hold due to rain.
Thanks for your insight, the three way is solid.

I would use a back up wrench on it. It helps for leverage

I just got it off . I pretty quickly rounded the nut off and I was using a small pair of channel locks instead of a normal sized set. Didn’t have enough leverage . It’s off now. Gonna try to crack the bleeders now

That extra four inches of leverage did the trick . Got all four bleeders a fresh taste of blaster , gonna let em sit and try to loosen in a bit. Today is a good day boys.

I officially drove my truck today. Still have to put my sub, amp, glove box passenger seat center console back in but it runs and drives good. 4by kicked on and off fine. Swapped the heater resistor and blower with new , fixed the heat situation right up. Big thanks to my buddy OJ! He helped me wrench on today to bleed brakes and he did the blower and resistor while I chatted.
haven’t changed any oils and fluids yet . But yall don’t want no updates on that skuzzy work. I’ll send pics after the car wash tomorrow to WRAP THIS THREAD UP.
I’m back baby! YEAH. Thanks everyone, I’ll try not to nose down in the ditch again. Finished just in time for a snow storm tomorrow in the forecast. Happy happy happy.

Good morning, so after a few days of having it functioning, I've got a few more issues. Yesterday morning I woke up early to rip up some newly felled snow before the plows could get to it and went to start up, just got a click. So, naturally I put it on the battery tender, first try after tender read green light, click. Left key in on position for a bit, turned off on a few times giving it time to sit in on position each time, was able to get it started. Im showing 14.1V while running. Granted it was in the teens or single digits so it was cold, but I chalked it up as needing a new battery so I swapped with a high quality battery, again this morning (2 degrees) same. click. used the same method to eventually get it to fire up. Noticed I didn't get the key ding ding when I started to insert it a few of the times I was warming up the electrics using the above method. sometimes I did, sometimes didn't. Getting weird obd2 intermittent functionality from my scan gauge, might be the scan gauge though. if I leave it plugged in, sometimes it simply won't give me a read out. but unplugging and replugging gets it to function. I only have a few days to figure out if I want to drive this truck for work purposes or accept a company vehicle. Leaning towards accepting company vehicle at this point. I will start with standard tests on the batt cable harness, voltage drop from post to ring terminal, and work my way down, when it isn't colder than a witches tit outside. I want to drive my truck for work so bad but it needs to be sound. Has to be. As always would love any advice from you folks, point me at the usual suspects, etc. The only other thing besides these electrics issues which may be an easy fix...is my hydraulics for my clutch are louder than I remember them being, and I heard some not so pleasant pulley sounds, metallic in nature, this morning but they faded as the truck got up to temp. No codes have been thrown in relation to any of these items im bringing up today. Let me know your thoughts, and send my truck your prayers! Haha!
