Buddy stopped by so I am tied up , haven’t pulled each fuse and checked but that’s logical and my next move in engine bay and cab boxes

 

You may want to check your cabin and firewall ground points to be sure there isn't any corrosion.

 

It has to be a ground.

 

Yes if it were me I wouldn’t spend time chasing individual electrical issues until I refurbished the all ground points. There is a factory chart somewhere on here for all ground points. You’ll pull out all your hair chasing gremlins otherwise

 

Soaked ecu, maybe

 

Yeah good point. OP’s pictures didn’t make it seem like that side was deep enough to hit the ecu, but maybe the perspective is off in the pic. bad ecu would be a high dollar replacement for the 4x4 ecu though, I’d chase grounds and all else before touching that

Do you all have any alternatives to 82122-04052? Wire harness is ungodly expensive. 572$ and total of one in the lower 48.

I see corrosion where water got into one side for sure . Rust spots. Water entered the case 100%

 

Definitely got wet ECU…
