It. Being as I can crank it all day, if that is the only means of the disabling setup, not my issue

 

Also i took the 3200 unit off and sprayed harnesses and pins with deoxit didn’t notice any corroded spots on any of those

 

Yeah I don’t think that 3200 is the issue after reading.

 

Think your ecm replacement will solve the problem.

 

I’m really hoping I found the airbag light issue too . It would have been an issue down the road a piece if it doesn’t fix it. Gonna replace that airbag board when I get it out and get a pn. And clean the harnesses out as good as I possible can

 

Harbor Freight has a cheap pack of various torx socket bits.

 

Hell right brother. Going there after my pops gets here . Gonna eat a pizza with him and keep beating on the old gal outside when he heads out. Hoping to get the carpet to the laundry mat today. Today has been good weather just chilly, skipped church to get work done. My pastor understood haha

 

Any guesses on how much this airbag board gonna cost me? I’m guessing at least 600

 

Make sure to leave the carpet out to sit with airflow after cleaning it. The jute padding on the back likes to retain water for at least a day or two after washing. Don't want it to grow mold!

 

airbag module and 4x4 control module, both have corrosion and water damage.
Gonna get these ordered tomorrow … 4x4 module looks like I may be able to clean up but definitely not the airbag board…will replace both. It was a good day fellas ! Cleaning up for the evening.

Run a dehumidifier in it for a day or two. An open box of "Arm and Hammer" under the seat for a month will do a number also.

 

Surprisingly both boards cleaned up really nicely. I’m going to definitely order both tomorrow, but i want to put these back in before Tuesday so I can test run with the new ecu. Highly doubt either of these boards will come in before the ecu is here.
Anyhoo, tomorrow I’ll be back at it, cleaning and the like. Got all the rusty bolts from the tear down sitting in pb blaster, some of the seat bolts were quite bad. I did snap one bolt head off today, one of the bolts that hold the center console of the interior to body. Gonna drill it out and retap just cuz I’m that kinda guy, and I have a tap and dye set . Might do it in imperial…haha..I won’t. I’m not that type of guy.

i read most of this over the days but did you pull and check the passenger side airbag sensor from the inner fender well? That was definitely under water
