In any case, I'll probably be going up Friday night and leaving Sunday (afternoon or evening hopefully)

Personally I'm leaning toward sooner than later.

 

So I had better start thinking of what I am going to tell my wife, saving money & working on the 4runner right away!

Keith & I where talking at lunch earlier today about taking our old ladies to BVORR sometime inbetween now & the next meet.

 

That would be cool. Let them enjoy all the work they've "let" you put into your trucks.

What do you plan on doing to the 4runner next?

Well maybe we could talk Drew into picking the later date & hitting up BVORR with us sometime inbetween so we can save some money first......HINT, HINT. But I AM going damn it I don't care what the fukking wife has to say about it, I wear the pants at my damn house.. so you could always just roll with me!

I'd be down for doing the later date. Especially if there's a meet at BVORR with the wives between now and then.

 

PLEASE!!! Somebody help me out. I am a North Texas boy and am not familiar with the area. Do we camp? What about commodities nearby? Gas stations? Hotels? Restaurants? I need to start getting gear together. HELP ME OUT!

 

Yeah, we camp out. Probably won't be any restaurants involved unless you hit one on your way in or out. Once we decide on a date, we'll make a real meet thread where all the planning takes place. Everyone volunteers to bring some of the food. There's usually way more than we need.

 

Thanks Keith. Hopefully somebody will cruise by and help me out. Things will be alot better if I can plan things out now and get funds and gear lined up. I want to go, but if I can't get some proper info, I won't make the trip. I am still really disappointed I missed the Alto, TX meet. That was, basically, in my backyard.

 

Worse case, you can sleep in the truck if you don't have a tent.
