    I don’t change mine till the oil light comes on kinda like the gas light it pops on. Easy peasy. Duh

    K&N filter, TRD rims Nitto Ridge Grappler tires, old school metal oil filter housing

    I do oil changes on my Tacoma at 3 months/3,000 miles just like my F-150. I did the first oil change on my Tacoma at 5,000 miles, and that oil was as dark as diesel oil coming out. Although the fact I live on a gravel road and use a k&n filter no doubt had something to do with that.

    It will not hurt your engine and it will not affect your warranty. Read the entire oil section in your maintenance manual (turn the page) and towards the end it will say that a higher grade is acceptable.

    20 grade and 30 grade are not actually very different in viscosity. All room temperature 20 grades are several times more viscous than all 30 grades at operating temperature. Your engine already essentially runs on a heavier -than-20 grade for significant portions of time as the oil warms up.

    False dichotomy. Healthy engines can have fuel dilution.
