I just put in 2 yellow tops today (well the mechanic did anyway haha). I have to say it looks identical to the ones in the pictures. I have to thank Tacomaworld because without the help of one member I couldn't have pulled it off.

Haha yes. The first tray i ordered, didnt work. There was two much space between the batteries. This one i have no that I got from moab4x4 is perfect. I did have to get the halo headlights for more room, and I also had to cut off the one clamp end of teh battery tray, but its beasly and will be fine. Im currently figuring out how to strap it down...I have an idea, and think it will work, but I havent had a chance to work on my truck recently. Im hoping this weekend though, ill get some time!

Sproulesxrunner, do you know how your mechanic did it? could you take some pictures?

haha yes...the housing (in particular the back portion) was waaaay smaller with the halos. in fact, it barely coming out from the frame of the front of the hood which makes ample room for this battery tray. What I'm trying to do, is be able to put this battery tray in, and strap it down, and for some reason, be able to swap in the regular one later down the road if I want to. I've thought about drilling and welding, but, if I can find a solution that is safe, and usable, Id like to do it and be able to undo it as well haha.
