Not using cargo track attached to the floor?

This way you can position any car for proper load balance.

Hadnt planned to. Only car that will get long haul use on the trailer is the '40, and that will get the location set by taking the loaded trailer to the DOT scale. Any others can use ratchet straps and the original tie down points.

So, I got all the 12v interior wires cut to length with all required legs added on. Then, I rolled em up til the insulation is in.
    20180722_193554.jpg
Started framing out the bathroom/kitchen wall. Im building everything modular so it can be removed for putting in the insulation and floor. Using the free floor samples as spacers. That way, when I got to install everything, it will all line up where I want it to be.

Well, awning arms were suppose to be here today. Walked up to the UPS truck when he got here and was rather annoyed.
Box was split in half and there were bolts loose inside.
That I could have dealt with. However, there was another issue that pissed me off even more. I ordered black arms, the box was labeled black arms, but the arms were white.
Needless to say, I refused the delivery.
    20180723_184704.jpg 20180723_184711.jpg
Guess I am another week or so from getting the awning up depending on when they send the correct one.
Tomorrow, I will work on the lower exterior trim.

Got the trim on the curb side cut, fitted, and screwed on. Im probably going to sandblast and paint them black.
I still need to put bolts on the original holes with red loctite and then cut the heads smooth to the rail. Original trim was 1" angle, which put the 1/4" holes right at the corner of the rails. So, I have to plug em.
Picture is before I finished. I am running it all the way front to back. So, I have to trim and fit it around the leaf spring hangers. It will get put on with sealant and screws.

Since protecting the headliner from welding is a PITA, and I plan to replace it, I cut it out. Cage starting to get tacked in. Have to make a couple adjustments, nothing ever goes back the same...

Got the new bottom trim on completely. Screwed and "glued". Letting the sealant cure then its time to wash it. Waiting for new wire to get here so I can replace all the jacked up light and brake wiring.

@Exracer2, thanks for the link on the light strip. Giving them a shot on extruded aluminum rails. Definately not getting anywhere near as hot as the last set I tried (removed due to fire hazard after they were too hot to touch).

Only thing left on the Airstream is the awning (Carefree sent the wrong one), custom blinds that I have to make, and finishing the trim on the front corner windows.

Glad the lights are performing the way you wanted. Did you get the remote and dimmer?

No. Wired them through a switch that matches the others used in the trailer. Powered under the counter with the switch next to the rear upper drawer.
It does a nice job of area lighting and lighting inside open drawers/cabinets.

So.... Just picked up a brand new, never mounted, rv door for my trailer. Looks like a factory kickback due to improper glue on the window. Paid $250 for it with screen door. The funny thing is, the shop I got it from failed to realize it had a brand new keyless entry lock factory mounted. Atleast until after I purchased it, then it was noticed. All that considered, it was worth the 8 hours of driving to get it.

Yep. Also picked up a new $150 rv window for the bathroom for $50 and checked out a Dometic Penguin II high capacity AC with heater and distribution panel that the dealer is taking off on the 22nd and Im picking up for $700.
I have to get the roof and new door frame supports welded in so I can spray foam the trailer next month.

I figured it would last longer and be more comfortable for use if I built/re-built it right.

Cut a hole in the bathroom wall and stuck a window in it.

Cut the side door off. Welded on a piece of square tubing to frame it for the new door.
Cutting the old door apart to use the angle iron as bracing for the awning arms.

Oh, I got all the lighting up to snuff.

Awning arms and rail mocked up. Need to get some black butyl tape to seal them to the trailer. Also need to finish the door so the front arm sits properly on the side.
Tomorrow, I will pick up a couple rolls of black butyl and a sheet of steel to finish closing off the wall then cut the door opening out.

Pulled the front arm off to fill the hole. I will pull the panel off tomorrow after I go pick up the AC. Then I will cut the hole in it for the RV door and paint the panel before putting it back up with screws and sealant.

Picked up the AC today. 15k, manual controls (knobs), 4 outlet non-ducted cover, with heater. I will probably put a soft start module on it so I can run the trailer on a single 2000i gen.
    20180822_162521.jpg 20180822_162531.jpg
Also, cut a hole for the RV door. Tomorrow, I will work on clearancing the floor for the door trim and then drill the holes to mount it. After that, I will take it off for prep and paint, then screw and glue it.
