    Very nice, Chris.

When are you gonna buy a project Tundra to drag this behemoth?

Not much of a project, gonna stay mostly stock for now. Do want to lift it, sits lower than my Tacoma did.

Need to get some aluminum angle for the corners and bottom (and make a filler panel under the door). But, this is how it sits at the moment.

Worked on trim a little bit. I am going to put a radius on the corner at the top of the trim to give it more of a finished look. Have to pick up some sealant tomorrow, then I will polish and put the trim on to stay. Also, made a kick plate out of aluminum diamond plate.

Got tired of dragging a** over speed bumps. So, I am doing a spring over swap. Should gain 4.5" with the swap. Going to do the cargo/travel trailer later to gain room for tanks.

4 1/2" lift on the dot. Waiting for some bolts and thread connectors arrive next week. They will be fitted and welded between the original and new perches for additional strength against rotational torque if braking hard under heavy load. It will also get shocks eventually. But, I am going to rebuild the tongue first.
Tomorrow, I am going to rewire the brakes and start working on dropping the fenders down (maybe).

Decided not to drop the fenders. I did, however, cut 1/2" off the brackets and move them all the way in against the frame. Had them further out before to keep the tires centered to prevent the edge from catching under full load. With the lift, they wont touch even if bottomed out. So, I opted for more side clearance by moving the fenders inward.

6" of lift on the cargo conversion with the underspung swap. No longer dragging on the driveway and when backing up the hill into my storage space. Still need to rewire the brakes, but my back has been fighting me for two days and it took all I had to get it back together.
Two bearings were too loose from the factory and all bearings just had a light slap pack of grease, so I am glad I chose to go ahead and do the work. I will pick up some new grease tomorrow and pump the EZ-lube axles full.
In November, I am going to order and install shock kits on it since it sits higher and I want a smooth(ish) ride.
The lift also gives me more space for underslung tanks.

Note to the keen eye, the flux core welder was just used to tack the new perches and tie bolts/nuts in place yesterday. That made it so the angles were already set when I took the axles to the shop to get fully welded today.

Doesn't this change the "arch" of the axles?

No. I didnt actually flip the axles over. I added new spring perches to the top of the axle, level with the old ones. That keeps the camber that is set in the axles.
Old perches did not get cut off, that way the strength of the tube isnt compromised. A 3" long 1/2" bolt with a thread coupler (long nut) is welded between the old and new perches to join them together. I didnt really need to do that with a full bead on the new perch, but I figured I would since that is how dexter designed their over/under kit. By building the kit myself, I was able to complete both trailers for less than the cost to get the two dexter kits to do one.

Put a gutter with spouts on the back (mainly to cover the overlap of the panels), also put a porch light on (to cover up the holes left from where the latch was).
    20190626_142015.jpg
Reused the aluminum that was in the front corners to cover the rear corner. Cabinets will be build in the corners over it. I did that to leave room for any wiring and to keep any foam that flakes off from getting into the cabinets or on the floor.

I was actually thinking about boxing around the exhaust and having it vent into the cabinet. The cabinet will get pretty good airflow in it. I hate mold, so all areas with possibility of moisture have airflow and even more airflow when the bathroom vent is turned on.
Intake side will be completely open with no obstuction til the back cabinet.

Note on the fridge though. The lid isnt flat, so it plays tricks on the eye when looking at it next to the counter. Makes it look like the counter isnt level.

Funds are tight for a bit after some unexpected things coming up. So, I am working with stuff I already have on hand that wont cost $ to work on. Getting the floor in the car painted up and in. Put the motor in yesterday with loctite on bolts (YAY ITS GOING IN). Gotta get everything on it so I can start building the fuel and trans cooler lines.
