Thank you for updating your thread. Many may think it's "guided ramblings", but in future years you will be able to refer to the thread to remember what you did for your projects.

Thanks to @tcBob for letting us host pictures. It has a cost and I'm aware of it.

No doubt. Out of all the forums I cruise around, TW is BY FAR the best.

Since every wheeled vehicle should have a horn, I grabbed these off a F250 and mounted them in a space above the radiator on the tractor. Did have to clearance them a bit to clear the rad cap.

Completely hidden with the hood shut, and they are loud.

Gotta drive the tractor down the road. So, I made a bracket for the smv sign. It will get moved up to the rear hoop when I put it on, but need to drive the tractor through town tomorrow. 20200210_180436.jpg 20200210_180451.jpg

My bucket no longer has a smile.
Added the toe chopper (hence the blade guard) and some reinforcement. I gotta straighten the top edge and reinforcement to it.
    20200211_165530.jpg
Cleaned the inside and bottom of the bucket then put some Rustoleum oil based paint on it to reduce rusting. Went with the oil based because I have half a gallon of it and it is easy to wash the bucket and throw more paint on if needed. I need to find a fence post to press down on to straighten the top lip.

Well, plans for the summer work on the property are mostly cancelled. Having another back surgery in april to decompress the nerve roots, fix one herniated disc that is pressing on the cord and remove a mass from my spine (he said cyst but wasnt 100% sure on what it is).

Got the tubing bent up by Twisted Trailer. Had him leave the ends a little long so I could fit it how I wanted. Angled the hoop back 10* and got it tacked in place. Got the cross bar tacked in.
    20200229_162552.jpg
Also got the front bars cut to size. I must say, I love my tubing notcher.

As long as you used Toyota relays to fire the horn, I'll allow it. Lol

Just kidding. Thanks for updating the thread.

Picked up a tonneau cover that I will modify as a roof for the tractor. Dirty and the clear coat is trash. But, for $50, it was worth it. 20200304_130742.jpg
Working in wiring the car a bit. Including setting up the horns and making a new wire set for the wipers (last of the cloth covered OE wiring). I need to make spacers to move the horns back a bit more. These 80 year old horns are louder than the air horns I put on my Tacoma.
    20200303_134631.jpg
Also got the fuel cell mount finished up along with the fuel hoses & tubing. Dropped the mount components off at the sandblaster today and will pick them up tomorrow to paint them. Thinking about coating the fuel cell with bedliner before I mount it in the car.

Got it centered and level side to side(as well as I could considering the FEL and tractor arent level to eachother).
    20200306_142550.jpg
Tall enough to get in and out comfortably without smacking my head. Low enough to get under the carport.

Welded up, added some brackets for mirrors and running wire to the top. Will add some triangulation when I get a new seat.

Yeah. You can see my girl peeking around the corner in the head on shot of the tractor. After I get the old bolt holes in the tonneau cover/tractor canopy sealed up tomorrow, I will get back to work on the car and hopefully get it fired up this weekend. I need to get some 8ga wire for the alternator, a firewall grommet for wiring, tranny fluid, and gas.

Lights wired up. Waiting for it to get dark to aim the sideshooters.

Center light is amber when ignition is on. Flip the switch and it turns white and the side shooters turn on.

Decided that I didnt like the lights mounted on the fiberglass. So, I dug out some gussets from the bin and welded them to the hoop. When the weather clears up, I will move the canopy forward and weld the top of the gussets then paint it up. I need to get a pack of tips next time I go to HF.

Took advantage of a break in the rain. Got the top welded and got them painted. Used a hair dryer to set the paint enough to put the lights on. I will aim them one of these nights after it gets dark.
