My savings acct is hating me right now. Keep finding sh** that I need at good prices. Picked up a Girard tankless water heater NIB for $300. Also found the flooring I am going to use, will get it in January (gotta give savings acct a break).

Edit: flooring in Feb. Had to get a new alternator for the truck.

Picked up a used tool box to go over the winch and store straps for the car trailer.
Cost a whole $40 and came with 2 extinguishers and lots of grease/grime.

Itll get more support when I rebuild the tongue on the trailer for more hitch clearance.

Went and picked up the plywood for the ceiling and front wall and some pallets for stacking firewood on.

You might have mentioned it already but I must have missed it, whats the interior height of your trailer?

Ill have to go measure it later. It is over in storage at the moment.
I think it is 6'2" or 6'3" with the drop ceiling, but I will go measure tonight when I get back from dinner at the casino.

    @Pickeledpigsfeet,
Finished ceiling height will be 6'5" with AC panel height being 6'3".

I am 6'2" so am looking to pickup a tall enclosed trailer to convert. I was worried that it would be too much of a sail behind the tacoma.

Mine is the Interstate Victory 7x16. No additional height. Main issue I had with it was the build quality, or lack there of.
There are a few things that can be done to help stability, unfortunately they arent cheap.
V-nose trailers help by not having the air flow hit a flat wall.
The company that makes the Nose Cone products that are often seen on semi trailers can customize one to fit flat or low curve trailers (like mine). This will help with stability and mileage. I will eventually spend the $500 and get one.
There is a company that makes AirTab "vortex generators". They help by changing how the air flows at the back of the trailer to reduce drag. While mileage may see a small increase, these help with stability in cross wind and vehicle generated turbulance. I will get a kit ($220) to try one of these days.

Decided to try on some color with some paint I got cheap. It is tractor paint, so a couple coats will be needed.

Gonna try these for backup/area lights on the cargo trailer.
$39 for the pair, 3 year warranty against failure and leaks with free shipping on return and replacement.

Insulated the front wall and made the wall panels. 1 1/2" foam fit perfectly between the ribs. Got the 1/8" plywood at HD for 70% off because there was some edge damage. Had to shorten them anyways, so I was happy with that.

Fitting the first ceiling panel. **** I hate drilling holes overhead. My shoulders are killing me.
After holes are drilled, I will pull it down to cut the hole for the vent in the panel and clear out the foam where the lights go. Before it goes back up, the metal ribs gey vinyl tape to help reduce temp variances.

Used the frame for the closet and my cargo bar to hold up the plywood sheets as I drilled holes in the steel ribs and put screws in.
    20181118_112023.jpg
All panels are mocked up with all holes cut out.
    20181118_161941.jpg
Next, I have to take them back down to trim the foam for the lights and to put the vinyl tape on the ribs. I will seal/prime the visible side while they are down (back side is already done).

After some probing (checking foam thickness), it looks like I am going to make my own non-skylight shower recess. I was going to get a RV skylight and mount it on the ceiling but not through the roof. Unfortunately, my foam is only 3.5" thick abd the skylights are 4". So, I think I will make a mold to lay fiberglass over to make my own.

Made some recesses for the LED light pods in the ceiling. The channel is to allow airflow.

Mounted the MicTuning lights as backup/area lights.
Was going to get a shower, but the two that HD had were damaged and the manager wasnt willing to drop the price enough to make it worth my time to repair the damage to the gelcoat.
I plan to wait for a couple dry days next month and I will haul the trailer up to pick up the flooring and the frp panels for the roof (grey) and bathroom wall (white).
    Anyways, lights....
