Maybe this is why some don't see the benefit in intake & exhaust upgrades

    Yeah we have a learning computer so sometimes a reset can make a big difference.

    Most of these mods can lean out the mixture and sometimes it's not enough to recalibrate the computer so it runs just slightly lean making it feel like it made no difference...

    So resetting the computer may aid in getting a more accurate output making it run better.

    The second problem is the computer also learns your driving style, so if you drive like a grandma and add an intake or exhaust the computer will still think you want to drive like a grandma, so a reset will start from base line and speed up the relearning.

    So I recommend resetting the computer after mods.

    now I'm going to try a ovtuning reflash, they can reflash the denso ecu...
