I tried Black Plasti-Dip, but preferred Camo Plasti-Dip colour on mine. $5 a can, easy peasy!

Since in those days most police cars were Dodge I could still see attributing the stupid black wheel trend to them. But the fact still stands - black wheels look cheap (maybe because they first appeared mainstream on a Dodge truck?). Well, first...if you can find me a wheel, which spins nice, doesn't contrast in color to my cement Taco, doesn't have a fake bead lock and isn't "ghetto" or "cheap", I will thank you for your effort. Next, as it pertains to black wheels on police shops, I'm good with that look! I mean, what color would you expect Ford/Chevy/Dodge to put on a Gov't vehicle?? Also, what exactly do you mean by "Ghetto"??

Well, we haven't really gotten anywhere as yet! Our appt for lift and gears is end of this month. So, with exception of a few little interior mods and an OV flash, we've done the basic grill, tint, visors (rather than the tinted lexan, did the matte black plastic from AVS. Can't see thru them, but they flow with the rest of the matte black theme), badge/decal delete, tailgate lock, etc. Wheels are going to the shop tomorrow and deciding on 275 or 285 - think I'm leaning toward 275 as we are doing about 2" lift. Also have an ARE V Series topper with Windoors on the way!! But, here is what we are starting with, just had it a few weeks!
