The TRD Pro Green is definitely a nice color, If it were my truck I'd probably do a Satin version of that.

I just took it out. Whenever I drive, I just plug my phone into the aux. haven’t listened to the radio since I installed it and been wanting to get rid of it for a while. Eventually i will hook up a radio for when I’m more prepared for overland trips and such.

While looking into getting fenders for my truck I stumbled upon this build and it is my goal to get to this point. I think I got this off of McNeil's website.Tacoma Goal.jpg

Yup. That’s the pic that sent me over the edge to buy them. Sick ass truck. Would be awesome to get one anywhere close to that.

Hmm...by that picture, it looks like they put an enclosed camper on the back with fiberglass fenders?

That's promising for my bedrack/RTT setup

Yea I have an ARE shell and looking to get wide fenders. Might have to use an L shaped bracket to make my own bed rails.

I can’t speak for the rear, but if they are made anything like the front, they are sturdy as hell. I would trust it.

So after some thought, I’m debating rhino lining the truck in the forest green. The guy I bought the tires from is a good friend and rhino lining is one of his main jobs. Thinking if I can get an affordable price from him I just might. What do you guys think?

I’ll be taking off all the badges and filling the holes in as well. I’m a man after simplicity. Lol

I would do it if the price was right. Just know that your paint won't be salvageable after that, and will need to be stripped down completely if you wanted to repaint/wrap.

Yea. I feel like if I do get a good deal on the rhino lining, I’m not worried about salvaging the paint. He does a hella good job. I’ve seen his work when I bought my tires from him. Well just have to wait and see the prices

Def staying tuned for this development as well!

Long ago, I had dreams of rhino/raptor lining my truck in white. It was already white, but I wanted the ruggedness for offroading. I got talked out of it though after a few different sources told me that that material (rhino, line-x, raptorliner) will absorb stains and other colors if I do white, and that it wouldn't age well.

But I haven't heard those issues for any other color, except maybe black being near impossible to get back to the true black color.

Thats funny you said that. I was just thinking about how a white rhino lined would look this morning.

I love matte colors, and matte white is a personal favorite of mine. So the white rhino liner was something I really wanted to do. But i'd heard people say that it would stain after some extensive offroading, and since I plan to keep doing that, I didn't want to end up with a truck that looks like a Great Value quicksand lol

Saw this truck today Rhino lined and I think it made me do the forest green. The colors called tank green. I heard back from my friend and he said he retails it at 5,750 but he’ll do it all for 3500 for me. Let me know what you guys think and final opinions. If I do go with the rhino line, I have something special planned for the tailgate.

gahhh that's a gorgeous color. If I had the money to blow on it I'd jump on that deal. $3,000 is like the very low end estimate of rhino lining an entire truck, and i'm sure at that pricing you probably wouldn't be able to pick your color, get the brand name liner, or get a good prep before it's applied.

He’s a pretty good friend. I’ve brought him a lot of business and he does a great job. He’s just giving me a good price to help me out. Gonna do the tank green color
