Hey All, First time poster here.

    Question to the group:

While having a wheel bearing replaced the mechanic broke the speed sensor for the ABS. He said "sometimes they break" and says the part cost $250.

Is this his fault? If he had more experience on Tacomas could the break have been prevented?

I am poor and am wondering if I should protest this and ask him to pay for the part. Your insight is appreciated.

    Thanks!

If he broke it, he needs to fix it. Plain and simple.
