    Rear Bumper “Fix” and Bedlined

Straightened the bumper out a bit from an old low speed rear end collision. Finally got rid of the last of the chrome. Bumper was finished with white Raptor liner, and CaliRaised pods were installed with a CH4x4 switch.

    Suspension Upgrade
Today was a big day with a huge thanks to @Casper66
The old OR suspension was swapped out for new shiny things. With 160k on the old suspension I figured it was probably a good idea.
5100’s w/OME 885 coils on the front, 5125 w/ 3 leaf AAL pack on the rear.
The front went up 2.5” while the rear went up 3.25” and pretty much kept the factory rake.

Those headlights make a huge difference, I need to do that too. Where did you source your replacements? OEM?

My tailgate was dinged up when I got it, the badges were all broken too so I just pulled the remaining bits off.

    Looks good

I couldn't believe the difference the headlights made. I got them from Low Range, they had the best prices at the time with free shipping.

The badges were a pain the in the ass with 12 year old 3M adhesive on them. I've debated on painting them black and remounting.

At work today, and it’s getting ready to unleash hell. Nice little shelf cloud moving in.

Good gracious that's a good looking truck and just going to get better! :spending:I have 5 buckets of water standing ready for toilets, all my lanterns are readey, a couple of flash lights standing by, I repaired the front down spout, and cleaned the drain in the landing to the basement. The only thing I don't have is gas for the ginny but that can be had fairly easy.

I'll have to check Low Range for those. I got my extended brake lines from them.

I still couldn't get all the adhesive off my tailgate!

They're just in stealth mode now.
My tailgate was dinged up when I got it, and the paint was hit by an exploding can of brake parts cleaner (oops) so I just coated it with plasti-dip for now.
It's lower on the priority list, but one day.

I saw the retro vinyl decals here, they look cool I think! Obviously that's a big one, but it could be scaled down too.

The retro colors are pretty cool.
I used WD40 and Goo Be Gone to get all the adhesive off, and a lot of elbow grease.

If you really b the adhesive with your fingers it will typically roll off then a little gum cutter or goof off on a rag gets the rest. Just clean and wax the area good when you’re done

I'll have to go at it again, I had kept it soaking with goof off for almost the entire day before I started working to remove it the first time. I guess the Texas heat really baked it on there!

heat is usually your friend in removing this stuff. It can bake it on there though and make it tough good luck

    Heat is good.
I had thought about the shop option, but I have to repaint the whole thing eventually anyway so I figure it'll be removed fully at that point.

As someone who just rebuilt their LCAs, I don't think I will go that route twice. The bushings sucked to install, I have half a thumb nail to prove it! If I ever need to replace things again I will definitely use complete LCA replacements like the MOOG or SuperPro.

My alignment was pretty off when I had it done the first time. I want to have it checked again since getting the new tires installed, I just haven't gotten back into the shop yet.
