I don't even remember man, I should've written it down. I just got on top of the cab and guestimated with a measuring tape where I wanted it to be. It doesn't go all the way to the rear of the cab (by a couple inches) cause I didn't want it all the way even with it. Then the sides just runs even with the weather strips so the width is easy to get.

 

No worries i think i got the outside pieces and will set those up first then measure cross pieces. Thanks.

 

Yeah just gut the side rails, hold them up the length you look like you want them, then square in the width.

 

Roof Rack side and front pieces for sale if anyone is thinking about building their own roof rack and would like some of the work already done. Pictured here on the truck, already cut to fit, $15.

Designing something a little different so I purchased some more aluminum to cut.

I'll buy em if they're what I think they are.

 

They are the side pieces and front pieces on the rack pictured on the pictures of my truck. They are 3" in width, sides are 55" long. Front is 3" 46" long I believe. The front/wind shield is cut for a 30"light bar so you can see the small slit there on the front where I cut it to make it look like it was made for the lightbar.

 

So it's the side and front trim pieces? I'll take em!

I probably won't mount a roof light bar. Because white truck

 

Yup, 1 Front and 2 sides. You'll have to have them if you go this route cause the wind noise over the rack holes are unbearable. These knock it off a ton.
Will do. They could use an extra pass of black paint, they're flat too so if you want gloss you'll have to hit em with gloss.

Now, just need to raid my cousins unistrut stash and I may have a few bracket pieces laying about my telco hoard boxes.

 

That will be all ya need to make ya one. Besides the bolts and brackets to mount it to the roof.

 

That is where it gets tricky. I'll need to check out ERMB's write up on that.

 

It isn't too bad. I can help you do it one day when we get around to wiring.

Truck had lost a lot of height, been riding rougher, fixed that. Removed the junky Eibach coils and went with OME.

 

Anybody need a set of used 5100's shocks!? I'm sure you don't want the coils!
