I finally got my Tacoma finished! I'd be interested in heading down to Hollister next weekend. What time were you all thinking of meeting up? Maybe we could caravan down from the 209 area...

Hope the ground dries up over there. I've been to HH quite a few times and none sucked more ass than today. With the ground so wet, the whole place was unpredictable.

Hey Brad sounds good buddy! I'm heading down from Turlock. We could meet in Turlock or Gustine. I vote for meeting at the Starbucks in Hollister at 10. That would give us plenty of time to meet up and head over. It's prob about an hour and 30 from Turlock or so ( I drive like a grandpa) :D

On any regular day 4x4 and a locker can do a pretty good amount at HH. But if it's muddy, all bets are off. I mean, going up certain trails were kind of tricky, but going down them were even scarier. Jerry's bro almost slammed into a side of a hill if it weren't for a rock that his back tired bounced off of.

If it doesn't rain for the rest of this week, you guys will be fine.

Thanks MJ for the info. Yeah I would imagine that going down some muddy/unpredictable terrain would not be fun at a place with some sheer drops and cliffs. We will see about the weather for this week. So far so good!

The forecast shows precip for the 209 on Saturday but looks cloudy in Hollister area so I'm not sure this Saturday (Feb. 1) will work for a wheeling trip at Hollister Hills. 4x4 and locker are strongly recommended and with unstable ground due to precipitation, all bets are off there. If we get a good rain on thursday then we may need to reschedule an "official" meet and greet trip for another date.

Well if it gets called off we could meet at my house and have a build / mod day. Bar-B-Que & Beer. I have a 3 car garage and plenty of room to work in.
