For some reason the HI guys are getting non tech package trucks without the chrome and color matched. Notice there's no BSM sensors on the bumper. There was a thread with another handful of guys same thing no tech but color matched OR bumpers.

Navigation and heated seats are useless IMO here. It's hot 350 days out of the year. The other 15 days it's warm. Navigation would be no help to me either living on an island, really no way to get lost.

Not needing those 2 things would be enough to keep me from the entire tech package. Unless you could pick n choose exatly what you wanted from it.

Navigation is standard on the TRD's. It is not a part of the tech package.

My neighbor has one. The other neighbor has two. My uncles each have one. My grandpa has one. The police in east Maui have one. The electric co., sugar co., and airport has a fleet.

You can say it's pretty common.

No offense man but to me Hawaii is not hot. The weather is stunningly soectacular. That's why you see all those hotels on the beach. If you want to feel what hot (miserable) is like come visit Oklahoma in August. But I agree heated seats in Hawaii would be as worthless as tits on a bull.

I've actually seen this at the dealership I bought mine from, too. I had to do a double-take, but sure enough they got TRD Sports and ORs in with the color keyed bumpers and no Premium/Tech package, as well as ones with the chrome bumpers. I have no idea why

I have 4 right in front of my house right now only one is mine the rest are neighbors not to mention the 3 other 4runners. Just was on the one lane road to my house and it was a convoy of 3 tacos in a row it was like a number 8 at Taco Bell.
