    Megadeth.

Simply because Mustaine is a better writer and because he was kicked out of Metallica back in the day for getting drunk and kicking Lars and James ass.

Metallica is a bunch of whiners now.

The James Hetfield of 1984 would kick the ass of James Hetfield of 2009.

You can't mess with Metallicas old stuff. The Black Album and before was sick!

    Metallica .

Symphony of Destruction is Megadeath's best work. many of Metallica's songs are better.

everyone hates on Metallica because of the Napster thing. i don't hate em for it. if i were to make a product and try to sell it, then someone bought one and copied it, then gave them away for free...i'd be pissed too.

i think Megadeath vs. Anthrax or Wasp would be a better competition.

I put one down for Metallica. Megadeth is Ok, but no comparison in my book.

X2 man. Dave Mustaine is better at guitar then Kirk Hammet! I think both are great bands, I saw Metallica last year and they still kick some ass, nothing after the Black Album though!

well, metallica hands down. i own every studio album. im going for their Garage days album when i can. but mustaine, is ok. killing is my business album was pretty good. mechanix is actually the same song as metallica's four horsemen just played faster. but mustaine, took the words and changed them. Metallica is the better of the two.
