There is some degradation of audio due to my shit video skills and the fact that I took it on my phone, but this video is in fact my current setup. If you can't tell by the video... Mud tires are LOUD!!

If I wasn't indebted to him for helping me install my suspension I'd had to have gutted him by now...

Hey we both were coached under the great John McElroy, we have a bond no others share. Besides you made it to easy today, TW and FB? Just wait till you repay the dept helping me and I wont be able to tease you as much.

Your right tho. I remember the noise when we test drove on your lift, but the headers and aero take care of most of that.

I can help you with what you need at the same time as we boost me... I am definitely back and forth on it, but watching Tor's shit keeps me on the yay side of the fence.

Your truck is awesome, definitely one of the best I've seen. Could be bc I've got the same color/model as you, but I digress...

Anyhow, did you do any prep to the roof prior to the dip? I've been thinking about doing it myself.

Also, did you install the shims/spacers with the OME lift kit in the front? I've heard some people mention not to, just curious what your experience has been with/without them?

    Thanks

Haha I don't know if it is that good considering some that I have seen on here, but I am flattered nonetheless. Thank you.

As far as the roof prep... I had a buddy of mine clay bar and then wax the roof before it was done. I figured that this would preserve the paint as best as possible and provide the best opportunity for the stuff to come off easily if I decided to do that in the future, which currently I have no plans to do.

For my lift, I installed 13mm top place spacers, but I did not install shims. I did not even install the CB drop as I was just gonna try it out and see first. I have had 0 vibes and the only thing I feel in the steering wheel is from the knobby ass tires I have on there lol.

Maybe... I'm sorta wishy washy on the whole idea. I really want a vette...
