I need some opinions... I am thinking of doing a new projector retro and might go all black, something similar to this. Any thoughts as to if you think I should do it or not?

There's no way to paint the housing and shroud with the projector epoxied in there... and I want to install angel eyes which will also not be able to be run through an epoxied housing. I might be going with a different projector too :spy: Not sure yet

I like the semi black look it has but all black would also fit with your color scheme as well

Yeah, it fits with your overall scheme well. I want to be one of the first to see what you're working on...

I really like it too. I'm trying to think out into the future, especially if I get a new bumper. Then the all black would be beast I think.

    Yeah... No kidding

The only real disadvantage I see (if you wanna call it that) is as of now your wheels kinda match it with the machined and black look. But with an all black bumper I think it would tie in nicely:cool:

I pretty much just need new housings. These ones are legit light-wise, but I am over them. They have a couple minor things that just piss me off. I am gonna sell them and someone will get a screaming deal. They have that little wobble on hits as you know pisses me off to no end and I have a couple minor things to add to them that I can't at the stage they are in. I might stick with the same color scheme though

You never seem to stop with the lights eh? lol Man your truck is looking good.

I was actually in the same boat regarding the retrofits, whether to go all black or keep some chrome. I personally went with the chrome as that much black at the front of my truck wouldn't look good, so that is something you also may want to consider the balance of black vs. color.

Yeah my quest for lighting never seems to end... oh well. If nothing else it has made me rather knowledgeable due to first hand experience on the subject. Upon playing with Photoshop last night I have decided to stick with the chrome inner. I still have some work to do on these lights for them to be up to standards for me though.

Based on the amount that I spent on my resonator ~$30 I am going to guess that the brand is either Magnaflow or Cherry Bomb. The resonator I have has no writing on it.

20% tint all around, blacked out badges, flowmaster 40 series and tip, rock hood deflectors, window deflectors, home made baja bumper, 17" XDseries wheels on some nitto terra grapplers, bright white led interior lights, blue needle on white gauges, cb antenna, with cobra radio.
on your speedometer how did you get your KM/HR white, did you have to buy a new face for the gauge?

They are quite a bit better than stock. And I might even include Denso Ballasts/Phillips bulbs with them which both are the standard by which all other ballasts and bulbs are measured against. My price will be VERY competitive for the products being offered. I have to figure out what I am going to do first though here. I am in negotiations with a guy in El Paso for a S/C right now but shh, don't tell anyone :spy:... If I buy that then my lighting might take a back seat until I get that all paid off.

This link is what I used and will tell you just about anything you need to know. Feel free to ask me or Rod aka Jerez if you have any other questions :)
