But when I blow one where do I take it to get a replacement ya know? Ill give them a good look tonight.

Yeah I like them too... they look quite expensive though! They all are really. I'm actually trying to figure out if I really need to go LT rated. Maybe just for the peace of mind. I plan to buy some treadwrights for my offroad tire.

New fuel pump is in! Everything seems to run fine. Word to the wise, I don't recommend anyone trying this install by yourself. You need a spare set of hands in there... I seem to have acquired a new sound in the engine bay though, similar to how wind sounds in the cab just a steady light woosh. Not sure if its a product of a new pump somehow or if something else is going on under hood. I shall investigate before I tear into it on the SC install likely beginning tomorrow.

I thought you were going to wait a bit and just run with the new pump for a few days?

Have you had the hood open, truck idling, and listened in the engine bay?

This may have been answered somewhere in the thread but I didn't read all 37 pages of it. How and what kind of paint did you use on your roof? I'm assuming you took it to a body shop and had it done? In the pictures it looks flat black and I really dig that look!

    Thanks in advance!

Beautiful truck by the way. Looks like you have done a lot of quality work on it. You should be proud!

After you get this installed you should post up some videos!

Im sure memario will confirm, but since I read through a lot of those 37 pages, I can tell you it was plasti-dip.

EDIT: Repeat response as above, posted at the same time as her. :/

I was... can't wait lol. I figure if it runs now with no leaks I don't see why anything else should magically come up?
Not yet. I finished the pump install late last night and went and got gas (20 mi round trip). It doesn't sound bad and my sister could hardly even notice it but I know my trucks sounds and it was different. I don't know if it is a product of the new pump or what... but my high and low idle are about 300 RMP lower each. :notsure:
Thanks for the kind words! The roof was actually an experiment with a little known substance called plasti dip :p. I didn't know if I would like the look so I did it as an experiment with the intention of later having a shop put vinyl there. However, it has held up very well which has led me to have no desire to switch it to anything else. Been there over 2 years now and just recently I have considered maybe pulling it off and doing a respray.

you go to one of cooper's designated places and most likely they will replace it with an atp or something and refund the shop the extra cost, at least that is what i have been told by discount when i purchased mine.
