I was just at 2k feet a few days ago and the truck had no problems holding the interstate at 75. My other tires were unfriendly on the interstate as well. They were both heavy and had trad that didn't like to roll lol. I think my new Dynapros will be much better in that regard.

I know, haha, or a cheap set of tires was my point. $900 is a bit more than I want to spend. Plus if I stay with 33's I would rather stay with my skinnies.
What elevation are you at? and when I made my comment apparently Lisa was exaggerating about Colton not being able to keep up. haha

When I was running 3.73's and my 33's (zero performance mods, motor is still completely stock, if anything I have more backpressure from my mangled y-pipe and muffler haha) I could stay at 75mph if I was going downhill or the ground was flat, but any sort of uphill would cause it to downshift to 4th to maintain 75. I wasn't lacking power per se, when it downshifted I still had no problem going from 75 to 90, but it was just trying to maintain 75 in 5th that it struggled. I vary from about 4500-5000 ft on average though, some of the passes on the interstate reach 5500+ though. With the 4.88's it takes a steep hill to make it downshift though! but when it does downshift I am running at 4000 rpm at 75mph. haha

Can you spin those 35's on pavement at that elevation? Had a guy in Hawaii tell me that he could spin his 35's on pavement (He was basically factory) and most of the roads there are close to sea level. I can only spin my 33's if I powerbrake it and just smoke them even with my 4.88's. Even doing a powerbrake launch they won't do anything more than a small chirp.

The addition of the S/C was the first time I could "roll" my tires from a standing stop. I could chirp them before, but that's it.

I can lock both lockers and roll all 4 tires in snow:p I can light up 3 in gravel for a few feet and I can light up my rear 2 through the first 2-3 gears in gravel.

That was quite the read! Thank you though, I appreciate the kind words!
I am pretty sure that I can do the ABS kill for my truck... Just haven't gotten around to it yet. I currently have slotted rotors and Hawk LTS brake pads. My braking is okay, but it certainly could always be better. I need to tone er down on this truck for a little bit. Get all the stuff I need sold out of here before I think about buying more. I have a lot of driving to do soon and need this thing to be at a nice happy place where it is reliable and predictable. New pulley here in a few days and then I think that might be it for a bit.

Got a few, but not enough!
You just need a few days, then you will come to your senses... Something will come up and it will be hard to resist purchasing it!

Haha if someone buys my old retros soon I might get a few small things done with the money. Fuel pressure regulator, oil catch can, and fuse block are a few relatively inexpensive but necessary things that come to mind.

Just like nofords, I never had a problem ripping those 35's loose. Intake, and catback, with factory gearing. Elevation and D.A. are everything. That was all pre-rearmount.

I cannot wait to hear memario's feedback of how the truck feels once he makes it closer to my level.

Probably go through a rear set of tire really quick. Haha.

It's amazing (and shitty) how much it really makes a difference... Most of my powerband shows me making 1lb of boost and then just gets to 2 towards the top of the RPM range. Hopefully the 2.8" will get me to 4 up here.
