I think you should install an AFR gauge so you know what's actually going on. The ECU is guessing and trying to compensate for what it sees. Install the gauge and we can diagnose the issue from there.

Oh believe me I know I need it installed.. I have it already. Just need to have the sensor bung welded in. Why do you think I was asking questions? ;)

I still think im gonna undo the fpr mod and see what it reads.

I would. Honestly. Get yourself a baseline first. The reflash is gonna leave you running rich as a pig so you really shouldn't run into issues there.

And the FPR mod just makes it run more rich right?

The majority of the time yes... I don't know all the details on it, Tor would. It more or less balances out your fuel pressure to maintain consistent flow.

Can we start calling your truck Polio and this is your new pic for the OP? ;)

undid mine just now as well.. took it for a spin..

cruising/idle sems to be a TAD higher.. consistently in the high 14.7's. WOT is still at 12.08.

again.. this is all a real rough estimate with the Torque app. AFR gauge will be installed next weekend.

Torque app most likely won't read any more rich than 12.0:1. My scangauge II won't, when reading off of the OBD II. When the truck goes into Open Loop, it basically isn't reading the AFR's any more and is just dumping a preset amount of fuel, that is supposed to be really rich and thus safe. Probably the reason why the Scangauge doesn't read any lower than 12:1. Just a guess. Someone else might know that exact reason better.

The FPR mod is best used for those who have the reflash, don't have an aftermarket ECU and cannot use larger than the TRD injectors, and need a means to get extra fuel for extra boost, based off of the previous limitations. The extra fuel to keep the AFR's in the 11's. Up to 8psi, it might not be necessary depending on the quality of the reflash. Sometimes the reflash is spot on, and sometimes it is way off in either direction. Watching your own AFR's is the only way to know if you need to do the mod.

Did you get a noticeable difference with the headers and pully?

The pulley was definitely noticeable and a nice pick up on power. The headers were on before the S/C. They were good for more top end, but were garbage for the low end power of the truck.

It actually has held up quite well. It has been on there for nearly 3 years now and I am just thinking of finally redoing it. Maybe a couple little chips on the leading edge from road debris, but good other than that.
    YESSSSSS!!!!! It's about time
