That's how my truck felt, when the front passenger bearing was going bad. About a week before it blew out on me, on the freeway.....

GREEEEAT... Well the new hub assembly should hopefully be here within a few days and then I will hopefully get a couple hours free to replace it.

I am super skeptical that it will heal all... But I am up for trying just about anything. The crazy thing is that I would have never known it was an issue if I didn't do that axle replacement! It's making no noise, but it is a rusted dry mess in there. Now I am paranoid as fuck that it is gonna go out on me in the next couple days. :p

Took me longer than expected and a trip to Wal-Mart late night for a 17mm socket (of course I had to buy a set), a chisel, and some pb blaster... but we are done!!! :yay:

So the problem was one of your wheel bearings?

Well I can say this... The truck doesn't run any worse! I still think I have something going on, but I am not entirely sure what it is. I have been having an issue with hard starts when it is cold, so my next thing is to find out why this might be happening. I am beginning to wonder if the truck is providing all of its power or if I might have a fouled plug or something which is causing the truck to have to throw in boost to maintain speed. That will be the next issue I dive into. Might have to tear everything apart and check the driver's side bearing too. Driveline seems good so... I'm kind of pulling at straws, but I still get the feeling that something isn't quite right.

That being said, does anyone know for sure if a bad battery can cause an issue with the ECU? To the point where it might rewrite some things permanently and cause issues even after an extended battery disconnect? I just wonder if that sketch battery that I replaced this winter might be the cause of some of my issues.

Wow must have been the nice weather or something!? I got so much attention driving around for like 10 minutes. Not very many people mod vehicles around here... and the recent rain took most of the winter gunk off

Everything that was forward facing that did not affect the light output. So the reflector bowl in the back I did not touch, but the shield and the little piece below it were painted. I pussed out on pulling out the lens, but there is an area just behind the lens that should be painted as well for maximum effect. If you disassemble everything it should become pretty apparent what affects light output and what doesn't. You have got to make sure to use hi temp paint though as normal paint will flake off.

The retro is an FX-R 3.0

I know it's kinda dead as of late isn't it? I am wavering back and forth with continuing to mod it or not. That being said... I have been looking at a couple things I still want to do  Hoping to not catch the bug again haha.
