    YEEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH

Thanks man! I already have my next set figured out in my head if and when the day comes. The bad thing is that the design would work out better on a 2012+

You know I got you when the day comes :)

Get your daggum exhaust done though! PLEASE. That is the exact setup I have been talking about for over a year now and you are my one glimmer of hope. My finances are all up in the air at the moment so I am nowhere near pulling that trigger. Prove to me that I had the right idea.

Nice build bro. Hey, just curious about the black roof. What gave you the idea to do that? Looks pretty cool. I have some brand new CAPA approved headlamps and an HID setup with Gatlin shrouds in the garage, but haven't worked up the courage to do the BHLM and install the HID setup. The BHLM doesn't look that hard to do, but the cutting of the headlamp housing to install the new projector lenses and shrouds concerns me a little.
Anyway, I am going for a look similar to yours except my truck is white and I have black accents/accessories.
    Nice job Colton!

I initially saw it on a BMW once upon a time and thought it looked great. I then saw a member on here (RAD) who did it to his truck and I really loved it so I just went ahead and pulled the trigger on it. It has held up great for the past few years. I am finally thinking about doing it over as the dip has gotten a few chips on the leading edge from rocks or whatever.

If you need help with the retro let me know. I'm willing to help you through it.

    Thanks! :)

So... late last night driving along and decide to put the hammer down. Transition from 1-2 a little rough. Trans over revs a bit and I get a little backfire on gear change. Feel like a boss... CEL comes on

I check it with the Ultragauge. Its P0420. I LOL. Jokes on you this Tacoma has no cats! :p I reset code and go along my merry way. All is well in the world.

Skimmed my way through this thread and I gotta say that you have one sexy truck! Love the clean look of it, especially the derped roof and lighting setup. Bummer to hear about all the problems it's been through, how's it doing now?:tumbleweed:

Thanks man! I just gotta get some positive cash flow here and I will probably fix the damn thing... It still has the same issues that were outlined before with currently no solution aside from a new trans. Not looking forward to that at all however. Hopefully I can get it taken care of within the next couple months. This ridiculous shifting behavior really isn't a whole lot of fun.

Welp... I am going back home during the first week of September. I will likely take the truck in and have the transmission worked over/rebuilt/buy a new one. Whatever it takes. It is really starting to piss me off.
