    In all seriousness.... What's it cost to keep this thing running?

    I have my own website ($9.95 a month) and I have the abilities to start up a forum without any additional charge. Bandwidth issues and all that stuff might cost extra. Our club website is the same cost and they have a forum - not nearly as busy as this one....

    Do you need help financially keeping this place going? Seriously.....
    You could start taking 'donations' and maybe give those people a little extra access privileges for donating. I think everyone here would enjoy going that route instead of falling to a corporate buyout.

    If I owned this site, I don't think that I could ever make a statement that "I'll never sell the site" I could plan on never selling it, but if autoforums came and offered me $500,000, I'd be long gone. I'd also start a new site that would remain private (until autoforums offered to buy that one)

    But it is a nice community here. Everyone gets along, albeit a few people.. No names to mention on that (TacoArk) :D but it's a great place to share ideas and all other stuff in general.

    So TcBob, does that mean, "take the money and run" and start up a new private forum if the suits offer the cash?

    Or take a few donations and stay the course?? I'm not confused, just curious.
