I'm picking up a starter today, hopefully have it changed friday night.

For sure I will let yall know. I want to put my 5" rear blocks to work before I get the trail gear kit installed

I had a friend pick up my starter from Napa yesterday. I got off work early today ( 6 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. is a short day right?), so I got to messing with the starter. It ended up only taking me 30 minutes to change it, so I got bored and took the doors off too.

 

this is going to be good...

Thanks jandrews. I haven't started a build thread or anything because I haven't had much time to work on it yet. I bought it with a 4 - 5" lift already installed with blocks in the rear and new 33" MTZ's, and some shitty tube armor, everything else is pretty much stock. Its getting 4" trail-gear suspension the 1st week of June, and new bumpers and sliders soon after.

 

Looks like its going to be a wide variety of rigs. 2 more days!

 

Yeah everything from a 82 on 36in Iroks, Jerretxx's 85 on 33's, 95 4Runner SAS on 35's, my 01 Tacoma with a 79 yota axle and more in between. May even have a jeep in the mix (Damien, the guy that built mine).

I'm ready to go!

 

Should be a good time. I like the crowd that's forming.

 

Miles is also bringing his 85 rear 3 link on 42's

Yeah, there's three towed rigs coming. The one jerretxx mentioned, Damiens jeep (v8, linked on 38's) and another buddy of ours has a 84 linked in the rear, duals, 4.7's, the whole nine yards.

Gotta work. Scheduled 11am-7pm then 7pm-3am over time paying time and a half. Who knew being a pool boy was such seriouz bizness? I'd love to bring the arctic cat and see what she can do on the rocks.

 

Nope, haven't gotten that far yet. I hope you guys don't get me into too much trouble. I have a feeling I will be on the end of a strap a few times this weekend . I may just hang until you guys take a lunch break, depending how early you start. I'm trying to get into some boating action Sunday afternoon.

 

Not sure? Depends. I'll be working Saturday morning until ? possibly as late as 4, although right now it looks like I'll be out around noon (that can change literally overnight - healthcare does that).

Whenever I am done, I'm hopping in the truck and heading straight there. It's about a 2 hour drive. My goal at this point is to arrive at the outpost around 2ish ? And if no one's there, make my way towards Kodak.

No worries though - I know the place well and worse come to worst I'll connect with you guys near the top of Kodak around go-back-to-camp time.
